I have 2 versions of the books: black-and-white series and full-color 7-in-1 large hardback. Memorized the BBC TV-serial versions. Followed the development of the 2005 LWW movie from as far back as 2003. I downloaded all the trailers onto my computer because YouTube didn’t even exist back then. Printed out high-definition screenshots, laminated them carefully with clear duct tape, glued magnets on the back, and arranged them in sequential order on the inside panel of my high school locker door, which was conveniently located next to the cafeteria. Became known as the “Narnia girl” at school and successfully promoted the movie to anyone who was waiting in line for lunch. Watched it 3 times in theatres. Bought 3 “Making of” books. Bought the 2-disc special edition. Memorized all the behind-the-scenes and commentary. Made close to a hundred screenshots of the behind-the-scenes to make my own Narnia-themed screensaver. Final high school art project was a painting of the 4 Pevensies. Made a Narnia-inspired costume for Halloween. Bought the soundtrack. Memorized the soundtrack. Learned all the themes by ear and now play them on the flute to warm up. 6 years later, and I’m still watching this movie from time to time.
Can’t get enough of Narnia. :)
